Support Our Work
We are changing people’s lives and each person’s success creates a lifeline for others– enabling a thriving community and ultimately, a thriving nation and economy.
But we can’t do this alone. We rely on the support of organisations, academic institutions and professionals to collaborate with us on our projects, fund our work or simply share their time or expertise.
There are many ways you can support us.
We’d value your support, if:
-
You are an academic institution seeking to create opportunities for your students and graduates.
-
You can create skilled work experience opportunities for our members
-
You can fund our work or help us raise funds
-
You have relevant skills and knowledge and can spare some time to work as a trainer, facilitator or mentor
-
You can help improve our public profile and reach
-
You’re active in your local community and know people who need our support
More ways to support us are listed below. If you can help in any of these areas, we’d love to hear from you. Whether your support is financial or a gift of time…it’s all priceless.

FAQs by those who support our work
Here are answers to some frequent questions we receive from organisations and those who support our work
Q. How do organisations get involved?
A. Organisations can get involved by reaching out to let us how they'd like to support our mission. Whether through the offer of shadowing and work experience opportunities, sponsorship, or utilising our trainers for staff training sessions, organisations play a crucial role in widening access and supporting underrepresented groups.
Q. I would like to support you as a mentor. How do I get started?
A. Getting started is easy. We invite each mentor to complete a simple form and enlist their profile following a verification process. They then become available to serve our community. If you are a professional or business leader or someone with rich experience to share, please contact us to tell us a bit about yourself. We'll get in touch with next steps.
Q. Do you charge employers for providing this service?
A. No, the FWB does not charge employers for providing support and opportunities to underrepresented groups. However, we rely on funding support to keep our services running. Therefore organisations that recognise the importance of our work contribute through one-time or regular donations. If you would like to support our work with a donation, we'd be happy to recognise your contribution on our website and other media platforms.
Q. What are the benefits of getting involved?
There are many benefits of volunteering, collaborating and becoming a verified mentor with the FWB.
First, organisations get to demonstrate their corporate social responsibility by supporting the FWB, and showcasing their contributions with pride.
Also unless they ask us not to, organisations get featured on our public platforms to raise awareness of their brand and support.
Our mentors receive digital badges upon sign-up and at each milestone achieved to celebrate their efforts and their overall contribution to nurturing a thriving community.
